David Agranoff

The King of Punk Horror

“Agranoff brings an artist’s eye and an activist’s fist to these chilling reports from our war on the natural world, and restores a sense of beauty and purpose to a genre all too enamored of vapid shock tactics.” —Cody Goodfellow, author of Radiant Dawn

“There is little doubt that Mr. Agranoff has a rich and fertile imagination and that this is just the beginning of what promises to be a fruitful and promising career.” – Bob Freeman author of the Cairnwood novels.

David Agranoff lives and writes in Portland Oregon. He is an author of Horror, bizarro and Science Fiction mostly. His short story collection Screams from a Dying World was nominated for a wonderland award for best collection. His debut novel The Vegan Revolution With zombies is hilarious satire that is getting rave reviews. He has a novella called “Punkupine Moshers of the Apocalypse” in the Bizarro Starter Kit Purple anthology. His newest novel Hunting the Moon Tribe is a horror-kungfu movie monster mash in the vein of Hong Kong movie classics like “The Bride with White Hair” and “A Chinese Ghost Story.”

He grew up in Bloomington, Indiana, while spending a few years in Syracuse NY, and San Diego. In 2005 Agranoff spent 80 days in prison defending our 1st amendment right to free association and belief.
