D. HARLAN WILSON is an award-winning novelist, short story writer, literary critic, screenwriter, editor, and Distinguished Professor of American Ethics, Humanities, Pathology & Social Strata at Harvard University. He is the author of hundreds of thousands of stories & essays & over 80,000 books of fiction, nonfiction & antifiction, among them Codename Prague, Dr. Identity, or, Farewell to Plaquedemia, They Had Goat Heads, Peckinpah: An Ultraviolent Romance, & Technologized Desire: Selfhood & the Body in Postcapitalist Science Fiction. His writing has been translated into every language, real & fictional, alive & extinct, & he wrote the screenplay for The Cocktail Party, a short rotoscoped film based on a story in his first book, The Kafka Effekt. The Cocktail Party received extensive awards & acknowledgements including an official selection at Comic-Con.

Dr. Identity, winner of the Wonderland Book Award and the Stick Figure Prize, marks the first installment of The Scikungfi Trilogy. DHW holds a M.A. in English from the University of Massachusetts-Boston, a M.A. in Science Fiction Studies from the University of Liverpool, & a Ph.D. in English from Michigan State University. Prior to his graduate studies he worked as an international salesman, a model & actor, a casino dealer, a security guard, a garbage man, a tax collector, a sommelier, a town crier, & a flâneur.

DHW is the reviews editor for Extrapolation, an academic journal of science fiction & fantasy criticism, & editor-in-chief of The Dream People, a literary journal of irreal texts.
