Happy Birthday Tommy Wiseau!

By Sam Reeve

If you’re not familiar with the work of Tommy Wiseau, boo on you. To sum him up in one sentence, he wrote, directed and starred in one of the worst movies ever made, called The Room. That being said, I’ve watched it about seven times already and love it more each time. Yikes.

Wiseau’s background is a mystery and he tends to be vague in interviews about his country of origin (somewhere in Europe, but hell, who knows?!).

Besides The Room, he’s made appearances on other shows, like The Tim and Eric Awesome Show, and acted in the wonderfully terrible short film The House That Drips Blood on Alex.

He also has his own show, called The Tommy Wi-Show, but I haven’t seen it myself and can’t vouch for how awesome/bad/sad it may be.

If you’re still wondering why The Room is known to be one of the worst films, just check out some of the clips below, as well as the trailer for The House That Drips Blood on Alex.
