The cult section of the literary world


I’m often asked that question. To help answer it, I’ll quote from my introduction to the WALRUS TALES anthology:

“Perhaps I admire their large ivory tusks and wish I had a set of my own. Perhaps I sense something vaguely mystical about them and wonder if they’re privy to ancient secrets. Perhaps a walrus saved my grandfather from drowning off the coast of Greenland. In the end, it doesn’t matter.

I love walruses, you see, and that’s all there is to it. I don’t need a reason. In fact, I refuse to have one.

But I’m not content to love them all by my lonesome. I want you to open your heart and love them with me. Maybe, by the end of this week, you will…
