Day 4: Peter Gric

By Sam Reeve

Today’s artist reminds me a lot of HR Giger, only maybe not as dark. Born in 1968 in what was once Czechoslovakia, Peter Gric‘s family emigrated to Austria when he was still young. They recognized his talent and always supported his artistic endeavours. Eventually Peter obtained an MFA in Vienna.

His art has appeared in galleries around the world, including the USA.

Now let’s check this shit out:

I’ve always liked monochromatic pieces with just a hint of color here and there. It makes for great atmosphere and what color variation does exist has greater impact.
