WALRUSES ARE SURPRISINGLY LIMBER
According to the repository of all worldly knowledge (i.e. Wikipedia): “The walrus sucks the meat out [of shelled creatures] by sealing its powerful lips to the organism and withdrawing its tongue, piston-like, rapidly into its mouth, creating a vacuum. The walrus palate is uniquely vaulted, enabling effective suction.”
Apparently, the suction is good for other things, too:
